I had such a great experience. I asked them to fix whatever needed fixed which was a lot and they did. They totally found every issue that needed fixed. My car has very high mileage and I now feel safe driving it. Very friendly service.

I wasnt going to review until I started being ignored after being unsatisfied with a job. Took my car in for a misfire and had to have a new cylinder head installed. they did fine with that and the engine runs good, except for a VERY loud valve tick noise, that they call minor. When I mention it, they tell me that its bucket and shim and cannot adjust it. When I brought up replacing the shims, they said "there were no shims in the vehicle before" That makes zero sense, how can a bucket and shim system have no shims? My theory is the original shims were put back completely in the wrong order, making the camshaft slam the valves open. and they did not feel like opening the valve cover back open and doing some clearance checks. You cannot even get the smallest .0015 feeler guage in between some of the cams. Supposed to be .020. Not to mention the broken and bent oil screen and the ripped valve cover gasket. $6,000 just to have my car sound so much more embarrassing, was really hoping to have it running well and not be completely embarrasing to drive for an upcoming trip that this job took all my budget for, so I can't even take it to another shop before then. The owners could not be more kind! On the phone or in person… incredibly upbeat and positive. The way they answered the phone made me know this place was right for me…first impressions are everything!! I love going to small privately-owned garages as opposed to dealerships. They are so knowledgeable and honest. All my questions get answered, and they are great at explaining what is going on with your vehicle, and you will leave trusting that things will be running smoothly. I just moved back to the area last year, and was looking for minor car maintenance and an inspection. I saw great reviews about D and R on-line, and I couldn’t agree more with the positive reviews. When you go, you meet “D” and “R”. They can address all your car (and foreign car) needs. They take great care of my Audi.

Having previously relied on the dealership where I purchased my vehicle over 12 years, I anticipated the need for additional maintenance during my recent inspection and oil change. D & R Auto Care impressed me with their proximity to my residence and the convenience of a waiting area while the work was being completed. During this visit, I opted for extra maintenance services such as new shocks, a cabin air filter replacement, and a wheel alignment. I found the total cost to be reasonable and fair, considering the quality of service provided. Upon leaving the premises and driving home, I noticed a significant improvement in the vehicle's performance, akin to driving on clouds. Amazing group of people! Highly recommend! I reached out to the shop online and got a response in less than an hour. The day of my appointment, I walked through the door, and Greg greeted me with a friendly and welcoming "hello!" I knew my car needed a lot of TLC, so I expected a large bill, but their reasonable prices and timely completion of repairs exceeded my expectations, which made me and my wallet very happy. They also provided me with a list and quotes for additional work that they recommend. Zac is a very skilled mechanic, and I definitely plan on going back in the future!
